DisneyNOW is a TV Everywhere app that allows cable subscribers that get the Disney Channel, Disney Junior, and Disney XD and live in the US to stream these channels’ content on demand. Geared towards children and pre-teens, DisneyNOW’s content includes Big Hero 6: The Series, Hotel Transylvania: The Series, and Pup Academy.

How to watch DisneyNOW with Proton VPN:
Connect to any Plus server located in the United States. Plus servers are available for Plus, Unlimited, Family Visionary Plan subscribers. For the fastest and most reliable connection, please connect to the server that is closest to your current location. To find the nearest servers to you, check the full list of our servers.

Step 1:
Get a VPN Plus or Proton Unlimited subscription
If you already have a VPN Plus, Proton Unlimited, or Visionary (legacy users only) account, you can skip to step 2.
If you’re a new user, sign up for Proton VPN.
If you already have a Free plan, upgrade your account by signing in and selecting VPN Plus or Proton Unlimited from your account Subscription page.
Step 2:
Install our VPN app
If you’ve already installed one of our apps, you can skip to step 3.
You need to download the Proton VPN app for your operating system. You can securely stream your favorite shows on Windows, macOS, and Linux devices or on the go with an Android or iOS device.
If you have an Android TV, you can join the beta testing program and install the app directly on your device.

Step 3:
Start watching your favorite Disney shows online with your VPN!
Connect to a Plus server in the US, select a show to watch on DisneyNOW, then set your kids in front of the computer and relax.
Step 4: (Optional)
Register your TV provider at DisneyNOW
To access additional Disney shows, you’ll need to have an account with a participating US TV provider. If you live in the US and the Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior are part of your subscription package from a participating TV provider, you’ll be able to access all the content on DisneyNOW. (This is assuming your TV subscription is in good standing.)
If you experience issues watching DisneyNOW, please try the following:
- Restart Proton VPN application and VPN connection
- Clear your browser cache
- Use a different browser
- Restart your device
- Clear your DNS cache
