How to watch NOW TV with a VPN

NOW TV is a subscription service that provides themed passes for on-demand movies, TV shows, and live sporting events. It is provided by Sky Limited, the company behind Sky Sports and Sky Cinema. Depending on which subscription you select, you can watch prestige TV, like HBO’s The Watchmen; new and classic movies, like Scarface; premium kid’s content, like SpongeBob SquarePants; and live Premier League matches.

Proton VPN users can watch both the British and Italian and versions of NOW TV!

How to unblock NOW TV with Proton VPN:

To watch the Italian or UK versions of Now TV, you will need to connect to any Plus server located in your desired country (e.g., to watch the Italian version of Now TV, you need to connect to a Plus server in Italy). Plus servers have a “P” icon next to them in our macOS and Windows apps. They can be found in the “Plus servers” list on our Android and iOS apps. On your Android TV (app currently in beta testing), connecting to a server in either of these countries will automatically connect you to a Plus server if you have the right subscription.

Plus servers are available for Plus and Visionary Plan subscribers. For the fastest and most reliable connection, please connect to the server that is closest to your current location. To find the nearest servers to you, check the full list of our servers.

Step 1:

Get a VPN Plus or Proton Unlimited subscription

If you already have a VPN Plus, Proton Unlimited, or Visionary (legacy users only)  account, you can skip to step 2.

If you’re a new user, sign up for Proton VPN.

If you already have a Free plan, upgrade your account by signing in and selecting VPN Plus or Proton Unlimited from your account Subscription page.

Step 2:

Install our VPN app

If you’ve already installed one of our apps, you can skip to step 3.

You need to download the Proton VPN app for your operating system. You can securely stream your favorite shows on Windows, macOS, and Linux devices, or on the go with your Android or iOS devices.

Step 3: 

Buy a NOW TV subscription

If you already have a NOW TV subscription, you can skip to step 4.

To watch NOW TV on our VPN, you’ll need a valid NOW TV subscription. NOW TV has several pricing offers:

You can subscribe to the Entertainment Pass for £8.99 a month, which will give you access to the premium TV that is shown on various Sky networks.

There is the Sky Cinema Pass which lets you choose from over 1,000 of the latest and most popular films. It costs £11.99 a month.

There is also the Sky Sports Pass, which allows you to live stream Premier League matches and cricket tests. It is £33.99 a month.

For those craving a little drama, you can sign up for the hayu Pass, which specializes in American reality TV programming. All the fights can be yours for £3.99 a month.

Finally, there is the Kids Pass for youth and teen shows. Your children will be able to watch thousands of cartoons and Nickelodeon classics for £3.99 a month.

Start watching your favorite British shows online with your VPN!

Connect to a Plus server in the UK and catch all your favorite British content on NOW TV.
