All you need to do is sign in to their site through your account with your cable provider, and you can stream any of these shows and more on demand.

How to watch SyFy with Proton VPN

Step 1:
Get a VPN Plus or Proton Unlimited subscription.
If you already have a VPN Plus, Proton Unlimited, or Visionary (legacy users only) account, you can skip to step 2.
If you’re a new user, sign up for Proton VPN.
If you already have a Free plan, upgrade your account by signing in and selecting VPN Plus or Proton Unlimited from your account Subscription page.
Step 2:
Install our VPN app
If you have already installed our apps, you can skip to step 3.
You need to download the Proton VPN app for your operating system. You can securely stream your favorite shows on Windows, macOS, and Linux devices or on the go with an Android or iOS device.
If you have an Android TV, you can join the beta testing program and install the app directly on your device.

Step 3:
Register your TV provider with SyFy.
To access all of SyFy shows, you’ll need to have an account with a participating US TV provider. If you live in the US and the SyFy channel is part of your subscription package from a participating TV provider, you’ll be able to access all of SyFy’s on-demand streaming content. (This is assuming your TV subscription is in good standing.)
You can also access SyFy if you have a Hulu + Live TV account. You can access Hulu with Proton VPN as well.
A limited number of shows are available for free to users that do not have an account with a participating TV provider.
Step 4:
Start watching SyFy securely with Proton VPN!
Connect to a Plus server in the US, log in to SyFy, then kick back and relax.
If you experience issues watching SyFy, please try the following:
- Restart Proton VPN application and VPN connection
- Clear your browser cache
- Use a different browser
- Use your browser’s Incognito or Private Mode
- Turn off any adblockers or similar plug-ins your browser might be using
- Restart your device
- Clear your DNS cache
